APRIL AT CORK HERITAGE PUBS: MUSIC, MUNCH & MIGHTY CRAIC

It’s nice to se the sun again isn’t it? We certainly think so. Ever since the sun sad hello again, our pubs have been absolutely buzzing. As the days get longer, we know everyones focus is on which beer garden o go to on the weekend. Don’t worry we’ll cover it all in this blog Aswell as a bit about music, food & drink.

We have always provided great music and this month is no exception whatsoever, we’re showing a fantastic lineup of local talent, bringing you everything from traditional Irish Trad  Music to Rock’n’Roll, it’s all ahead of us this April. As you know, Crane Lane Theatre is open 7 nights a week with non-stop entertainment. Crane Lane boasts some of the best music you will see in the city with something everyone will enjoy. We have two very different room showcasing very different music. Why not pop in and see what all the fuss is about?. Arthur Maynes is right next door if you fancy a glass of vino or venture Upstairs for hand-crafted cocktail to your liking. Cantys on Pembroke Street has music 4 nights a week showcasing an impressive selection, if you want to dance the night away while drinking delicious pints, you know where to go. Immerse yourself in the heart of Irish culture with our regular trad sessions. Expect lively jigs, heartfelt ballads, and the warm camaraderie that comes with a good ol’ session. Sin É on Coburg Street Is the home of the longest trad session in Cork City. Absolutely unreal if you ask us! We’re talking x2 sessions a day. What’s more The Park on Tuckey Street has started doing a weekly trad session. The Park also has DJs every Friday & Saturday- their drink deals are something like you won’t see around the city. For a more relaxed vibe, join us in El Fenix.  Folk night is perfect for unwinding after a busy week, these sessions feature talented singer-songwriters playing their own compositions and beloved covers. We have a bit of everything for everyone, if late night house, club, techno is your scene, you simply have check out the Pavilion on Careys Lane. There’s always something on, whether is a techno dance set- a drag show or simply one of the classical movies we show, you won’t be disappointed. DJs are live downstairs in Intermission three nights a week. If latin dance and amapiano is your vice, look no further than The Old Town Whiskey Bar at Bodega. Bodega has Fiesta Latina and all things Latin every weekend until late. One of our favourite gems is The Poor Relation on Parnell Street, a place for all to enjoy cosy snugs and good music, often focused on rock’n’roll. Have you heard of our new Munster Alternative night? Every month Easy Company & The Revolt bring a nation renowned punk band through the doors of Poor Relation to bring you the best renowned Cork punk night Cork has to offer. Rising Sons Brewery, The Vicarstown & The Black Dog also have DJs all weekend long every weekend.

Our kitchens have been working their magic all year curating the tastiest branch and lunch menus for you all to enjoy.
