Having celebrated three years in business, Cork Heritage Pub’s Rising Sons Brewery are celebrated by our customers for producing top quality Lagers, Ales, and Stouts, and we have already picked up an array of awards in both 2015 and 2016. Just last week, we have been awarded an incredible five Gold Medals at The World Beer Awards for our Midaza Irish Dry Stout, Changeling Pale Ale, Steeple American Amber, Redemption Irish Red and Mayhem Saison. Indeed Changeling, Steeple, and Mayhem, achieved even higher accolades by being Ireland country winners in their categories.
“We are extremely proud of what we have achieved and we owe this in no small part to the loyal and fantastic consumers of our beer” said Judy Wilkins, General Manager of the Rising Sons Brewery. Head Brewer, Shane Murphy, and Assistant Brewer Kieran Foley, say that they make a concerted effort to listen to their customers and are conscious of giving the beers a local identity, and a sense of themselves.
Rising Sons’ products have achieved incredible brand recognition, particularly in the Munster Region, and the team at Rising Sons work closely with both new and current customers. Judy continues “ quality consistency, and passion in our beers, is our main focus.
Five Gold Medals and three Country Winners at The World Beer Awards is an astonishing achievement. Demand for Rising Sons product comes, not only from the bar trade, but also from restaurants and hotels, showing that their approach of brewing both traditional, and contemporary beers, is a winning formula.
