April marks another amazing month for Cork Heritage Pubs, as the summer grows closer. we’re getting everything ready for all you punters, tourists, friends and family alike. There will be Food, Beer, Music, Live Entertainment, Shows, Whiskey & a surprise for Cork on the way.

SUN TRAPS

Let’s start it all of by saying who’s ready for beer gardens and outdoor spots, Cork may be full of them but it’s all about finding the right ones for you. Crane Lane Theatre is an infamous choice, you can relax in the lane and take in the busy atmosphere, or maybe The Vicarstown, the sun trap, a true hidden oasis. The Old Town Whiskey Bar at the Bodega is one of the best spots in the city to catch the sun!!.

Want to see all the hustle & bustle going on around you, make sure to check out The Poor Relation on Parnell Place. El Fenix is a must-go when the suns out (word has it dolphin sometimes swim past the quay). The Oval and The Park on Tuckey Street are beautiful spots for some evening pints.

ENTERTAINMENT

Our pubs entertainment will be better than ever this month. Trad music all month long in the Sin É with a new addition of trad music Thursday evenings in El Fenix. The Pavilion & Intermission will have extravanganzas, live shows & DJ sets all month long, Crane Lane Theatre & Cantys Bar literally have non-stop entertainment 7-nights a week. it’s been said that Phoenix/ Pembroke Street is basically the new Temple Bar but we don’t always believe Waterford Whispers. As usual gigs will be held all weekend long. These are some of the best free gigs available in Cork City. Arty’s Bar Ballincollig if you happen to find yourself in that neck of the woods!!

We have a number of options for you to choose from, dine and wine in Arthur Maynes wine & tapas bar (head on Upstairs then for one of the best cocktails in town)don’t be lead astray though, they do one of the best breakfast & lunch in town.
