July at Cork Heritage Pubs

July is here, and that means sunshine (hopefully!), longer days, and good times at Cork Heritage Pubs! We’ve got everything you need to make the most of the season, from music to food to (YES) the finals of the Euros 2024!!. What a competition it’s been so far and we’ve been enjoying having you all with us celebrating and enjoying the momentous occasion. It’s all go again in Cork Heritage Pubs as always so here goes.

Catch all the action of the Euros 2024 live on our big screens! Cheer on your favourite team with a cold pint and some tasty pub fare. We’ll have special offers on match days, so you can celebrate every goal in style.Let’s talk about where?. Need that ultimate fan-zone?. The Old Town Whiskey Bar at Bodega is one of our ultimate fan-zones. Cold Rising Sons Pints, delicious Pub Grub and tons of atmosphere. There has been amazing support and we hope for more coming into the semi-finals & finals. Best Of Luck To All!.

 

Rising Sons Brewery has also been hosting a fantastic tournament. With deals flying out the door, you really can’t say no!. The guys aren’t just brewing award winning beer but are brewing legends. Get involved and join the gang for the last few matches. Crane Lane Theatre are showing every game live, delicious food is served as-well as deals.

Cantys next door is sporting a new outdoor screen as-well as plenty of screens inside. This is where the famous piece “You’ll never miss the match at Cantys Bar” came from.

You will also catch the rest of the tournament in The Vicarstown, The Park Bar & The Poor Relation. The Pavilion will be showing the semi-finals & finals on the big cinema screen.

Looking for something a little different?. We’ve got you covered! .Throughout July, we’ll be featuring live music nights showcasing some of the hottest local bands. From indie rock to blues, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. There will also be an array of DJs each weekend for some of the hottest club nights in town. In the mood for dancing? Head to The Pavilion, The Intermission or Old Town Whiskey Bar at Bodega, The Crystal Bar in Crane Lane Theatre is also notorious for it’s 80’s dance parties!!.

There will be live bands in The Poor Relation & Crane Lane Theatre all month long, Cantys Bar has crowd pleaser four nights a week. The Vicarstown & Black Dog Taqueria are going head to head sporting a battle between hip-hop & rock ‘n’ roll. Who will win?. If you’re feeling trad & folk, head over to Sin É on Coburg street which has live sessions every night at 6pm & 9pm, El Fenix on Union Quay will also be hosting trad & folk on Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Let’s talk about the perfect pint. You can find the perfect pint in nearly all our bars but some of the highlights are as follows. The Mutton Lane Inn on Patricks street is like Corks ode to pints. You’ll never not see a happy punter in the Mutton Lane Inn. The Oval on Tuckey Street is one of Corks most unusual bars, it’s full of joy, fun & good beer. The Park across the road from The Oval is another cosy spot with deals which will knock your socks off, 3 Fosters for €12 every day, 3 for €15 Rising Sons Pints & 2for1 cocktails on a Tuesday.

Have you checked out our new wine bar on Oliver Plunkett Street?. Old Brennans, not just a wine bar but an art gallery too. It’s proving to be a real hit. Sit down, relax, drink good wine and try something off the spectacular menu they have on offer. It’s really one not to miss. Our sister wine bar Arthur Maynes is open until late every night and is one of the only bars in the city serving food until 1.30AM.

The Cork Ska & Reggae Festival 2024 is back in the Crane Lane Theatre & Pavilion at the end of the month, be ready to groove and jig to all these amazing free gigs!! Check it all out here
