After a long close for renovations, The Black Dog is back rocking and rolling better than ever! A newly designed indoors and exterior, a brand spanking new kitchen and a new speaker system that will blow your mind! Cork’s favourite venue is back with a bang, formerly BDSM; The Black Dog’s stunning new interior and taqueria is a sight to behold. This will surely be the spot to spend your summer with delicious Mexican dishes, tequilas, mezcals and locally brewed pints available 7 days a week, all can be enjoyed in our outdoor seating out the front and back.

They’ll also have some of the countries best alternative DJs playing the very best of indie, alternative, rock and metal until late. If you’re looking for a place to relax and escape definition, then drop in to The Black Dog and see what’s new!

 

Frozé revolution on Parnell Place

The Poor Relation has gotten a lick of paint in recent times, it still remains one of Cork’s finest city centre bars on a sunny day with our outdoor seating area, a dash of live sport and local live music on the big stage. Frozen Rosé has landed in Cork for the first time in The Poor Relation, a product of California, frozé is light, refreshing, and dry, making it the perfect drink for wine and rosé enthusiasts this summer. Coming soon to The Old Town Whiskey Bar at Bodega.

 

Summer sun and latin vibes at The Old Town Whiskey Bar

There’s no better place to enjoy Cork’s summer sunshine than The Old Town Whiskey Bar at Bodega on Cornmarket Street, with the finest outdoor area in the city, it’s the best place to bask in the summer sunshine with a craft cocktail in hand or a gourmet dish to savour! We’ll also be showing all the biggest sporting events on our big indoor and outdoor screens. Our upstairs section is also available for private functions.

The Bodega’s Fiesta Latina on Saturday nights is an absolute hit, make sure you arrive early to avoid disappointment! The very best of club hits the latin world has to offer raise the roof every Saturday night from 11pm with DJ Wilros, perhaps best enjoyed with a mojito?! Hasta pronto!

 

 

Brewery tours and seasonal brew

With fathers day approaching, why not treat the old man to a behind the scenes tour at Rising Sons Brewery? Book your Brewery Tour and Beer Tasting in advance at risingsonscork@gmail.com or ring 0212414764. €15 per person. Minimum 2 guests and maximum 10. Available at 6pm sharp Tuesday and Thursday. 12pm sharp on Saturday afternoon also.

The brewery also has a very interesting seasonal special! Shield Maiden is a 5.1% Norwegian Ale. Sweet, orangey and very easy drinking. Yeast driven beer with all the orange flavours coming from the yeast, perfect for the warm weather on the way!

You can also check out out the famous pizza and pint deal at Rising Sons which runs on Mondays; any Rising Sons pint and pizza with three toppings for €15!

 

Summer trad in Sin é

The trad never stops in Cork’s finest traditional pub! With daily traditional Irish music, delicious local pints and some local characters, Sin é is always a shout to experience the traditional heart of Cork.
