The Pavilion
The Pav on Carey’s Lane will be the gem of this St. Patrick’s Day weekend. They have a jam-packed line-up from traditional Irish music to some of the best bands in Ireland. Intermission downstairs will be open from 2pm daily and until late Thursday-Sunday! Don’t forget to try our stunning new range of craft cocktails.
On Paddy’s Day we’re starting with a free session of Ceili by the Lee at 2pm, Irish dancing lessons run by a friendly crowd with years of experience. Beginners all the way to seasoned vets welcome! Then from 4:30pm we’ll have Skazz up on stage, this six piece are the embodiment of the ska movement starting out as a swing and jazz outfit and converting in early 2007 to pure ska vibes. At 7pm Va Va Voom are up; a high energy outfit from Cork, playing an eclectic mix of rock, funk & soul with liberal dollops of nostalgia from the 80s/90s.
From 9:30pm Live Lizzy will get Paddy’s night underway with a stunning tribute set to Thin Lizzy. Followed by DJ Ian Richards until late close

Old Town Whiskey Bar at Bodega
The Old Town Whiskey Bar at Bodega will boast one of the finest line-ups of entertainment in the city in one of Ireland’s most beautiful venues! We’re gonna get you in the mood for the weekend on the 16th with DJ Mystic Gold’s pre paddies party starting at 9pm.
We kick off Paddy’s Day with some face painting for the kids from 2-5pm then the fabulous ‘Sing It Back at 7:30pm’! Sing It Back are a 4 piece R&B/Dance-Pop band covering both new and old bangers from Whitney Houston to Dua Lipa, guaranteed to get you dancin’! Then in a special edition of our hit Latin Night, we’ll be celebrating San Patricios from 11 until late, Mexican style. Vamos a bailar toda la noche en Bodega!
They’ll be followed by The Hollyz at 9:30pm! The Hollyz are a well known, hard rocking power trio out of East Cork. Priding themselves on a set comprised of classic rock belters only!
Saturday the 18th of March will see the final showdown of Ireland’s Six Nations rugby campaign versus England on our indoor and outdoor screens at 5pm. They’ll be followed by Kate O’Conor and band at 7pm to get things lively after the rugby. Then to top it all off we’ll have Souldriven on stage, the seven-piece groove masters will give you an array of soul, funk, jazz and blues into the night. We’ll then have fiesta Latina until late!
On Mother’s Day we’ll be running brunch specials from 12-6 so treat the special lady in your life!
Did we mention The Old Town Whiskey Bar has one of Cork’s finest heated outdoor seating areas?! Bodega boasts an incredibly wide range of offerings including tasty dishes, classic cocktails, Cork made beers and simple bites, you won’t be departing us disappointed!

Crane Lane Theatre has a jam-packed line-up for Paddy’s weekend. Starting on Thursday the 16th with Ceili by the Lee hosting Irish dancing lessons for €5 from 6pm. Beginners welcome! They’ll be followed by The Kates at 9pm; The Kates are Mide Houlihan, Liz Clark, Mary Beth O Mahony, Eve Clague & Paula K O Brien. They celebrate the rock Goddesses who have gone before them! Then to take us late into the night Black Apple Bastards Serving up a sermon of sultry tunes and bangin’ jams, they will leave you reeling with a euphoric high on the dancefloor, and a pounding headache in the morning… DJ Che-K will also be playing an eclectic mix of classic grooves in the crystal bar from 11pm
Friday the 17th, the big day itself, will be one to remember with Pontius Pilate & The Naildrivers on main stage from 4:30pm. The spectacular Tau & the Drones of Praise will be playing some epic folk pop spirituals from 7pm in the theatre. Shakalak will bring a love of lyric and melody which is at the heart of their creativity at 9:30pm on the big stage. DJ Val will then be on the decks until late close. We’ll also have DJs running all day and night in the Crystal Bar.
We’ll also have live music and the rugby on Saturday.

Canty’s
Canty’s on Pembroke Street is going to be where the Craic is at this Paddy’s Day! We kick off our weekend of festivities with The Insiders at 9pm. Paddy’s day itself will see The Laughing Shamrocks take the stage after the parade for some Paddy’s Day classics, then Flake the Gander at 4:30pm. Our evening will kick off with Ricky Lynch and Band at 7pm then Skazz will take us into the night. Live music also on Saturday and Sunday.
Remember you can always grab a bite next door at Arthur Mayne’s until late! Or you can pop into Crane Lane between acts.

Sin É, located on Coburg Street is a cultural marvel and one of Ireland’s finest traditional pubs. It is one of the few venues in the city with daily traditional Irish music sessions. It’s a fine spot and perhaps the best place to get a taste of Ireland’s rich musical tradition, and perhaps a locally brewed pint. It’s a venue much coveted on St. Patricks day so make sure you get in relatively early to enjoy the festivities in traditional style! It’s also a great spot to watch Cheltenham and take part in the annual buster!
Sin É will have trad sessions all week from 6:30pm.

The Vicarstown Bar and The Black Dog
Do you often get the urge to get groovy after a day of festivities?! The Vicarstown Bar has you covered this St Patrick’s week with DJs until late Thursday to Saturday. Make sure to wear green and get in the Paddy’s weekend spirit! The Black Dog next door is also the perfect spot for some delicious cocktails and a couple of tacos to spice up your day.
